Education

She graduated from Izhevsk Mechanical Institute with a degree in Electronic Computing Machines.
She defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences on the topic: "Approximation of the laws of distributions of random variables and processes" at the St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University named after V.I. Ulyanov (Lenin).
In 1995, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences on the topic: "Development of methods and tools for monitoring complex objects in conditions of significant uncertainty based on the regularizing Bayesian approach" at the V.I. Ulyanov (Lenin) St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University (LETI).
In 1998, by decision of the Ministry of General and Vocational Education of the Russian Federation, she was awarded the academic title of professor.

Professional activities

She worked as a professor at the Departments of Information and Measurement Technology and Environmental Engineering at St. Petersburg State University (LETI) from 1987 to 2005.
She served as President of the interregional scientific public association "Scientists for Ecology" in the period from 1992 to 2013.
From 2001 to 2009, she served as a member of the Board of Directors of Rosneftegazstroy. Then, from 2011 to 2013, she served as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Rosneftegazstroy.
Since 2001, she has been an expert with the United Nations Department of Sustainable Energy Development.
Since 2013, he has been working as a professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
She has been actively involved in the management of scientific and technical projects in Russia and abroad since 1990, and is also the editor-in-chief of the scientific journal "Soft Measurements and Computing".

She is the author of 9 scientific monographs and about 300 articles in Russian and foreign scientific Journals.
She specializes in the creation of intelligent measurement systems, monitoring, auditing, management decision-making, intelligent GIS, BIG DATA, IoT, IIoT for technical and socio-economic systems in conditions of significant information uncertainty.
She developed the theory of the regularizing Bayesian approach and Bayesian intelligent technologies based on it, used to control complex objects in conditions of significant uncertainty.
She has developed a theory and systems of soft and cognitive measurements.
She directs the scientific school on the following topics: the regularizing Bayesian approach, Bayesian measurement and analytical and intelligent technologies and systems.
